Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes serves its purpose as a prologue for a much longer and more satisfying game to come. However, as it stands its really difficult to recommend to newcomers, even if there is an included backstory to leaf through.

It's too early to tell just how well Kiether Sutherland matched Big Boss. There wasn't enough conversation in Ground Zeroes to allow the 24 star chance to flex his acting muscle. Despite that, original Snake David Hayter was very much missed, and two fans have gone so far as to put the X-Men writer and voice actor back in the mix.
